FOCUS AREAS
The Junior League of Las Vegas is committed to addressing critical community needs through strategic focus areas that reflect both the challenges facing Southern Nevada and the strengths of our trained volunteer membership.
While human trafficking prevention and survivor support is currently our primary focus area, JLLV’s work extends beyond a single issue. We support a range of initiatives that advance safety, stability, education, and opportunity for women, children, and families — adapting our efforts as community needs evolve.
Human Trafficking Prevention & Advocacy
JLLV plays an active role in combating human trafficking through education, advocacy, and partnerships with local organizations serving survivors and at-risk populations. Our work focuses on raising awareness, supporting prevention efforts, and strengthening the network of resources dedicated to protecting vulnerable individuals across Southern Nevada.
Supporting Women, Children, and Families
In addition to our primary focus area, JLLV invests time, funding, and volunteer leadership into programs that support:
-
Economic stability and self-sufficiency
-
Access to education and youth development
-
Safe and supportive housing
-
Health, wellness, and family resilience
Through hands-on volunteerism, grants, and long-term partnerships, our members help strengthen the organizations and systems that serve those most in need.
A Responsive, Community-Driven Approach
JLLV’s focus areas are informed by ongoing community assessments, nonprofit partnerships, and member engagement. This ensures our work remains relevant, impactful, and aligned with the evolving needs of Southern Nevada.
By concentrating our efforts while remaining adaptable, the Junior League of Las Vegas is able to create meaningful, measurable impact — today and for the future.
