There is a difference between living in Las Vegas and investing in Las Vegas. Every day, hundreds of Junior League members choose to invest in our community through service, leadership, advocacy, philanthropy, and collaboration. Together with our community partners, donors, and volunteers we are building a stronger Southern Nevada while preparing the next generation of leaders to do the same.

That belief is reflected in our theme for this year, Learning Today. Leading Tomorrow. Those four words remind us that every experience, every challenge, and every opportunity to serve prepares us to become the leaders our community will need tomorrow.

While our  projects and community partnerships create meaningful impact across Southern Nevada, they also become classrooms where Junior League women strengthen their voices, grow as leaders, and gain the experience to make a difference far beyond our League. Our members go on to chair nonprofit boards, advocate for meaningful legislation, mentor emerging professionals, serve in elected office, lead successful businesses, strengthen our schools, and make lasting contributions throughout their communities.

As we continue celebrating 80 years of service, the Junior League of Las Vegas remains committed to identifying our community’s greatest needs and responding through education, advocacy, volunteer action, and leadership. From advancing the well being of women and children to addressing our current community focus area of combating human trafficking, our mission has remained steadfast: developing women leaders who create lasting community impact. The fingerprints of our League can be found throughout our region in organizations we have helped launch, programs we have strengthened, and generations of women who continue to lead with purpose.

It is an incredible honor to serve alongside the women who make the Junior League of Las Vegas extraordinary. I hope that as you explore our League, you see what I have the privilege of witnessing every day: women investing in one another, investing in Las Vegas, and building a legacy that will continue for generations to come.
